Overview

Big North Graphite's Griffith/Brougham Graphite properties (100% interest, less 2% NSR) span an approximately 6,500-hectare land position in central southeastern Ontario in a district where other graphite projects are actively being developed, including Northern Graphite Corp's Bissett Creek project and Ontario Graphite Ltd.'s Kearney.

Optimally located, the Griffith and Brougham properties have proximal access to well-established infrastructure as well as major end-use markets in the United States and Europe. The location of the projects is highly prospective with the Brougham Graphite Property being anchored by two historic graphite occurrences (based on Ontario Geological Survey maps from the 1970's) to the southeast. The high value, high quality large-flake graphite exploration target covers substantial tracts of graphite-prospective Grenville-age marble +/-gneiss geology which have yet to be explored for graphite using modern technology.

The company is currently ramping up exploration activities including ground geophysics, mapping, sampling and trenching, as well as preparing drill targets for a Phase One drilling program slated for 2012.
